Restored the Way You Want It!
Classic midyear Corvettes are cool. A classic midyear Corvette in your driveaway is even cooler.
Adhering to strict NCRS restoration guidelines, this midyear Corvette is one of the finest examples we have ever displayed in the Dream Giveaway Garage. And yes, this classic Sting Ray convertible with auxiliary hardtop looks better than it did on the showroom floor back in 1965.
Thanks to the expert restoration work performed by Verrillo Motor Cars, this 1965 Corvette Sting Ray has just completed a three-year comprehensive, highly detailed frame-off restoration.
During the course of the restoration, the complete rolling chassis was removed from the body and then disassembled. The frame was sandblasted, primed, sealer applied and painted to factory specifications.
The exterior was stripped down to the original fiberglass body and refinished in its original Ermine White. The interior was restored to its original black and the gauge cluster and clock were rebuilt and restored to look like new.
The 327ci V-8 engine and Muncie four-speed manual transmission were completely rebuilt. The rear end and trailing arms were also rebuilt. New original-spec ball joints were installed. The steering was rebuilt and refinished. The brake and fuel lines are all new. The brake calipers and master cylinder were rebuilt and new brake pads and emergency-brake shoes were installed.
